Deleting your account and data
Last updated: 10 September 2026
The short version
Kiff-Kach (an Android app made by the Kiff-Kach team in Morocco) stores almost nothing about you. Your spending never leaves your phone. The only thing on our servers is a small profile — your name and email. You can erase it from inside the app in two taps, or by emailing us.
Delete it in the app
- Open Kiff-Kach and go to the Me tab.
- Scroll to Delete account and confirm.
This immediately removes your profile from our servers and wipes all of Kiff-Kach's data on that phone.
Delete it by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email contact@kiff-kach.com from the address your account uses. Ask us to delete your account. We action every request within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your profile on our servers — email address, display name, language, currency, and app-version bookkeeping. Deleted right away.
- All your spending data — transactions, amounts, categories, notes, income and savings figures. This only ever exists in the app's private storage on your phone, and is removed when you use Delete account or uninstall the app. We never had a copy.
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing that identifies you. Anonymous usage and crash events we may have collected (screen names, device model, app version — never amounts or personal details) stay in our aggregate analytics but are no longer linked to you or your account. These events age out of our analytics provider within about 12 months regardless.
- No legal or contractual retention period applies to this app. We are not a bank and no money moves through Kiff-Kach.
